University education statistic. Results

The University teaching statistics have been conducted by the National Institute for Statistics since the academic year 1945/1946 until the academic year 2010/2011, gathering the most important characteristics of the students (enrolled students, new admission and when they finished their studies, disaggregated by gender and age), as well as of the teaching staff, the centres and doctoral studies.

Since the academic year 2011/2012 the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport has been responsible for conducting these statistics.
