Works that will be carried out in the year 2009
End of the development of the Urban Audit of Spain, at the request of the Senate, comparable to that of the European Union, which encompasses provincial capitals, the Autonomous Cities of Ceuta and Melilla and the remaining cities with more than 50,000 inhabitants
Use of the GIS Urban Audit and inclusion of the results of the Urban Audit therein, at the request of the Senate
Beginning of the fourth phase of the Urban Audit Project, which will encompass a set of more than 300 variables that must be obtained by each of the participating States. The reference period for the collection will be the year 2006, and the work is estimated to take 18 months
Continue and encourage the development of different aspects related to the dissemination of the project.
The Autonomous University of Madrid carries out tasks in data collection from cities, and in the estimation of variables for which direct statistical information does not exist.
