Concept selected: Complementary activities from an agricultural holding

Definition

A complementary activity is understood to be any activity, excluding those activities relating to the aforementioned agricultural work, performed in exchange for remuneration (payment, wages, benefits, fees or other income for the services rendered, including payment in kind). This considers both those activities performed in the same holding (campgrounds, hostels for tourists, etc.) and those activities, whether agricultural or not, performed outside of the holding.
Distinction is made between complementary activities directly linked to the holding and those activities that are not directly linked to the holding.
Distinction is also made between main (primary) and secondary complementary activities. A main activity is that which takes up the most time, whereas the secondary activity is that which takes up the least time.
