The Construction Production Index (IPCO) is a short-term indicator whose objective is to measure the monthly evolution of added value in the construction sector.
In order to obtain it, a continuous monthly survey is conducted, which every month investigates 3,600 firms in the construction sector distributed throughout the national territory.
This operation disseminates results from January 2026, continuing the Construction Industry Production Index Survey (EIPIC), which was carried out by the Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility until December 2025.
