Em Portugal, os turistas do Reino Unido representaram 23,6% e os da Alemanha 10,8%; em Espanha, os do Reino Unido corresponderam a 26,5% e os da Alemanha a 22,8%. Registe-se ainda que, no caso de Portugal, os turistas com residência em Espanha ocupam o 3.º lugar, com 8,2%, mas Portugal não integra sequer o grupo dos 10 países cujos residentes mais pernoitaram em Espanha. PRINCIPALES NACIONALIDADES DE TURISTAS NO RESIDENTES En 2016, los turistas residentes en Reino Unido y Alemania fueron los que más pernoctaron en establecimientos hoteleros de ambos países ibéricos. En Portugal, los turistas de Reino Unido representaron el 23,6% del total y los de Alemania el 10,8%; en España, los residentes del Reino Unido representaron el 26,5% del total y los de Alemania el 22,8%. En cuanto a Portugal, cabe destacar que los turistas españoles ocupan el tercer lugar entre los que más visitan Portugal, con un 8,2%. Sin embargo, Portugal no pertenece al grupo de los 10 países cuyos residentes pasan la mayor parte de las noches en España. MAIN NATIONALITIES OF NON-RESIDENT TOURISTS In 2016, tourists residing in the United Kingdom and in Germany were the ones who stayed the most nights in hotel establishments in both Iberian countries. In Portugal, tourists from the United Kingdom represented 23.6% of the total and those from Germany 10.8%; in Spain, residents from the United Kingdom represented 26.5% of the total and those from Germany 22.8%. As far as Portugal is concerned, it should be noted that Spanish tourists rank third as the ones that visit Portugal the most, with 8.2%. However, Portugal does not belong to the group of the 10 countries whose residents spend the most overnight stays in Spain.
