Em Portugal, os do Reino Unido representaram 16,4% e os da Alemanha 14,4%; em Espanha, os residentes no Reino Unido corresponderam a 19,2% e os da Alemanha a 18,3%. Registe-se ainda que, no caso de Portugal, os turistas com residência em Espanha ocuparam o 3.º lugar nesta hierarquia, com 14,4%, mas Portugal ficou na última posição do grupo de dez países cujos residentes mais pernoitaram em Espanha, com apenas 2,3%.
