The total area of the holding is made up of the area of all the plots included therein: the area that is the property of the holder, the area rented out for working and the area worked and governed by other types of tenancy agreement. Areas owned by the holder, but granted to third persons, are excluded. The total area of the holding includes cultivated land, lands for permanent pastures and other lands.
