May 2025. Provisional data. Spain received 9.4 million international tourists in May, 1.5% more than in the same month of 2024. In the first five months of 2025, the number of tourists increased by 5.5%.
May 2025. Provisional data. The total expenditure of international tourists visiting Spain in May increased by 4.9% and reached 12,254 million euros. The average daily expenditure increased by 1.9% to 209 euros.
May 2025. Provisional data. Overnight stays in non-hotel tourist accommodation increased by 0.6% in May compared to the same month in 2024. Overnight stays in apartments increased by 2.2%, and those in rural tourism by 5.3%. Campsite stays decreased by 0.7%, and hostel stays decreased by 9.7%..
First Quarter 2025. The net lending of the national economy compared with the rest of the world stood at 10,100 million euros in the first quarter of 2025. Gross national income reached 397,364 million euros in the first quarter and the gross national disposable income stood at 395,771 million euros.
May 2025. Provisional data. The annual rate of the IPRIX stood at 0.6% in May, six tenths below that recorded in April. The annual variation of the IPRIM was -1.8%, seven tenths lower than the previous month.
First quarter 2025. The number of trips made by residents in Spain decreased by 14.3% in the first quarter to 34.7 million. Total expenditure fell by 4.3% to 11.175 millions of euros. Andalucía, Cataluña and Comunidad de Madrid were the main destinations.
