Concept selected: Interprofessional Minimum Wage (IMW)

The Interprofessional Minimum Wage (IMW) establishes the minimum amount of remuneration that a worker will receive, in reference to the legal working day. Each year, following consultation with the most representative Trade Unions and business associations, the Government regulates the "Interprofessional Minimum Wage", for both permanent workers and temporary workers, as well as for the personnel serving family households, bearing in mind the Consumer Price Index, the average national productivity achieved, the increase in job participation in national income, and the general current economic status.
