Definition

Labour status refers to the condition of the registered member regarding the exercise of a professional activity at the reference time of the statistics. A Retired Registered Member is considered to be a registered member who has retired from work due to reaching the age determined by law or due to illness, and who receives the corresponding pension. Retirement is an administrative act by which an active worker transitions to a passive status or to a status of labour inactivity.
