Did you know...?
The Quarterly Labour Cost Survey (ETCL) is a continuous statistical operation on a quarterly basis whose main objective is to know the evolution of the average labor cost per worker and month, the average labor cost per effective hour of work and the time worked and not worked. Since the third quarter of 2013, you have also obtained information on job vacancies or offers. For the main series, a simple variation index is provided based on the year 2016.
In addition, ETCL is the fundamental source of information for preparing the Harmonised Labour Cost Index (ICLA), which is part of the euro-indicators that the Statistical Office of the European Union (EUROSTAT) requests from the countries of the euro area in order to measure the convergence of labor costs in the member states.
