4556Short-Term Demographic Situation

Works that will be carried out in the year 2007

Preparation of a regular system of monthly demographic situation estimates that enables deriving, from demographic movements of births, deaths and migrations, an approximation of the most recent data both in absolute terms, and demographic indicators.
Analysis of the process of renewal because of expiry of non-community foreigners without a permanent residence card, with the purpose of an initial approximation of the impact of departures and to design a procedure that enables continuous follow up and application of this measures to the current impact of the phenomenon.
Update of the INE demographic indicator system.
Response to international questionnaires and other requests for information from various institutions.
