Works that will be carried out in the year 2010
The Ministry of Education will carry out
- The testing, using cognitive laboratories, of the translations of the four co-official languages
- Hiring of the application company to conduct fieldwork for the pilot study (data collection: April-June 2010; work with the application company: February-August 2010). Anticipated to be in collaboration with the MTIN
- Verification and trial of IT equipment for fieldwork (1st quarter 2010)
- Checking of data collection instruments (tests and questionnaires) used in the pilot study and translation of new items for replacing those that have failed in the pilot, with regard to the main study (2nd half of 2010)
- Trailling of the national IT platform for treatment of data (1st quarter 2010
- Compilation/filtering of a national database for dispatch to the OECD (August-December 2010), and final analysis of the data for the pilot study. (December 2010-January 2011)
The Ministry of Labour and Immigration will collaborate and will assume responsibility together with the Ministry of Education in the development of tasks to be performed and of representation in the project's technical bodies
The INE will take charge of preparing sample design and sample selection for pilot study fieldwork, likewise advising on planning and development of the data collection tasks.
Budgetary credits necessary for its finance in the year 2010  (in thousands euros)

252.34 thousand euros (participation quota financed by the Ministry of Education in 2010), 166.87 thousand euros from the Ministry of Labour and Immigration budget, and 475.00 thousand euros (preparation and application of study fieldwork
