5333PIAAC Programme for the International Assessment of Adult Competencies of the OECD

Works that will be carried out in the year 2011: The Evaluation Institute of the Ministry of Education, in collaboration with the MTIN, will carry out the following tasks
- Implementation of changes in the study tools (computerised and print formats), as required by the PIAAC International Consortium
- Translation and adaptation of said changes to the five languages
- Production of a master version of the context questionnaire, and final tests for the PIAAC main study for each language
- Verification of the computer application designed for the data collection from the main PIAAC study, both of the background questionnaire and of the cognitive tool questionnaire (with the collaboration of New Technologies from the MEDU)
- Verification of the automatic punctuation of the test
- Preparation of the documentation necessary to call the tender for the hiring of the main study fieldwork
- Attendance at international meetings called for national coordinators of the countries participating in PIAAC
- Updating of information, fulfillment of the standards set out, monitoring of the tasks to be carried out and resolution of problems related to the permanent communication with the Consortium responsible for the project and with the OECD
- Beginning of the application of the main study. The INE will carry out the design and selection of the sample for the main study.

Budgetary credits necessary for its finance in the year 2011 (in thousands euros): 854.48 thousand euros from the budget of the Ministry of Education and 173.27 thousand euros from the budget of the Ministry of Labour and Immigration.
