5023Short-term Prices for Agricultural Products

MARM, Councils/Departments with jurisdiction regarding the Autonomous Communities.
Works that will be carried out in the year 2011
Conducting daily/weekly surveys regarding the prices of vegetable products, including vegetables, prices of flowers, commercialised in different representative markets and collaborating units, during the year 2011.
Daily/weekly obtaining of prices of the different products, pursuant to the respective EU regulations and national legislation.
Updating of methodologies, products, specifications, markets, weightings, etc., in accordance with the changes occurring in the regulation.
Daily/weekly dissemination to the EU, Autonomous Communities and different national organisations and entities related to the sector, both public and private.
Weekly dissemination in the "Weekly Short-Term Report" and on the MARM website (www.marm.es).
Increase in the number of products to research, due to EU regulations. Councils/Departments with jurisdiction regarding the Autonomous Communities select the informants in representative markets of agricultural products, collect information weekly and filter and dispatch it to the MARM Statistical Unit. In addition, those Councils/Departments with jurisdiction regarding the Autonomous Communities of Andaluc¿a, Arag¿n, Castilla-La Mancha, Catalu¿a, Regi¿n de Murcia, Comunidad Foral de Navarra, La Rioja and Comunitat Valenciana select the informants in representative markets of fruit and vegetable products and flowers, collect information daily and filter and dispatch it to the MARM Statistical Unit.
