Data is included on a municipality level, resulting from approval of the Municipal Councils of the tax bylaws corresponding to the IBI. The Municipal Councils (or provincial delegations, where applicable) supply the information on the main aspects of the IBI tax bylaws that must govern in their respective municipalities, which is recorded by the corresponding managing offices of the Directorate General for the Land Registry through a computer application
Aggregation of the information, as well as filtering and subsequent tabulation, are performed by the Statistics Area of the Directorate General of the Land Registry.
