Sub-indicator 17.14.1.9. Mechanisms in place to enhance policy coherence for sustainable development. Item 8. Financial resources and tools.
For the purposes of this methodology, sustainable development policy coherence has been interpreted as the coherence between policies in general covering the dimensions of sustainable development. Indicator 17.14.1 is a composite indicator covering mechanisms related to:
- Institutionalised political engagement
- Long-term considerations
- Inter-ministerial and inter-sectoral co-ordination
- Participatory process
- Evaluation of policy impacts and policy linkages
- Alignment and coordination across all levels of government
- CPDS monitoring and reporting
- Financial resources and tools
Each mechanism is scored on a scale of 0 to 10, where 0 means that none of the requested mechanisms are implemented and 10 means that all requested mechanisms are implemented. The percentage of points out of a total of 80 points is then calculated.
