European statistical information

European statistical information is very extensive, and covers all of the subjects in the economic, demographic and social areas. This information is fundamentally disseminated via the Eurostat (Statistics Office of the European Union) website. In order to help users in answering their questions relating to European statistical information, there is a network of ESDSs centres coordinated by Eurostat. The ESDSs (European Statistical Data Support) are European Statistics Information Offices created to assist users in their own language. The procedure is simple, previous user registration: select the query language and fill in the form so that your question may be answered.
European data
The European statistical information is disseminated primarily via Eurostat`s website (available in English, French and German). Through predefined tables and databases providing access to harmonised and comparable data from the European Union, its Member States and the euro area, as well as other countries and major trading partners.
The use of Eurostat data is free, however, users must be registered to consult or access additional functionalities such as the alert service, to download a larger amount of data (bulk downloading), customisation of the navigation tree, etc. The registration process is immediate.
