  • Public employment comprises all the employees of Public Companies and Central and Territorial Administrations, including both workers contributing to the social regime of the Social Security and those attached to a Benefit Society.
  • Private employment is the difference between the total of employed persons and the employees of the public sector. That is, it includes: employees of the private sector, employers, independent workers and entrepreneurs without employees, cooperative's members and other professional situation.
