Income per consumption unit is obtained, for each household, by dividing the total household income by the number of consumption units. This uses the distribution of persons.
Dependent children are understood to be all those persons under 18 years of age, and persons aged 18 to 24 years old who are economically inactive, for whom at least one of the parents is a member of the household.
