  • In the Living Conditions Survey, the information used in the calculation of variables such as income and the poverty risk rate always relates to the previous year.
  • Those at risk of poverty or social exclusion are people who are in one of these situations:
    
    • - Poverty risk (60% of the median income per consumption unit).
    • - Severe social and material deprivation (with deprivation in at least 7 concepts from a list of 13).
    • - In households with no employment or with low employment activity intensity (households in which their members of workable age did less than 20% of the total of their work potential during the reference year).
