The new Tourism Satellite Account in Spain perfects its economic measurement

The INE is presenting the first results of the Tourism Satellite Account in Spain (TSA), a new measurement instrument intended to satisfy a relevant need for statistical information, since, despite the unquestionable importance of tourism in our economy, it is somewhat difficult to measure its real weight. This account breaks down and details implicit information in the national accounts and in the previously compiled origin and destination tables.
