The objective of this publication is to provide indicators that enable analysing the intensity and main features of the behaviour of basic demographic phenomena in Spain (birth rate, fertility, mortality and marriage) and of the growth and structure of the population resident in the country. Indicators are calculated from the results of the vital statistics and from the figures for the population resident in Spain.
