Up to now the periodicity was five years, but it has changed to four years. Psychological violence is defined as that intentional and prolonged conduct in time, which affects the psychological and emotional integrity of a person and his dignity as a person, without any physical contact intervention between the persons involved. It includes control behaviors and those of emotional abuse. Emotional psychological violence is that related to behaviors of emotional abuse (insulting him, humiliating him or her in front of other people, scaring him or her on purpose, threatening him or her verbally with harm to her or his children, threatening to take away his or her children, etc.)
