Definition

Ratio of gross domestic consumption of primary energy to GDP in chained volumes (2010 reference).

Calculation method

\[CEP_{PIB}^t=\frac{CBEP^t}{PIB^{t}} \cdot 100 \]Where: \(CBEP^t\)is the gross consumption of primary energy, calculated according to Eurostat methodology. in year t and \( PIB^{t}\)is the GDP in chained volumes (reference year 2010) that is reported annually to EUROSTAT by Spain in year t.
