Definition

Percentage of adolescents who at the end of the first stage of secondary education have reached at least a minimum level of reading competence.

Calculation method

\[MPL_{PISA, Lectura}=\frac{MP_{PISA, Lectura}}{P_{PISA, Lectura}}\]Where: \( MP_{PISA, Lectura}\)is the number of adolescents participating in the PISA study who have reached or exceeded level 2 of proficiency in reading and \( P_{PISA, Lectura}\)is the total number of adolescents participating in the study of competence in reading.
