Target 12.1. Implement the 10-Year Framework of Programmes on Sustainable Consumption and Production Patterns, all countries taking action, with developed countries taking the lead, taking into account the development and capabilities of developing countries

Sub-indicator 12.1.1.1. Spain has adopted sustainable consumption and production (SCP) national action plans or SCP mainstreamed as a priority or a target into national policies

Spain develops and implements planning instruments to carry out sustainable consumption and production policies; to this end, it has the Spanish Circular Economy Strategy, "España Circular 2030"; the First Circular Economy Action Plan (2021-2023), which is implemented through 116 measures; and the Second Circular Economy Action Plan (2024-2026), which builds on this by setting out 105 measures centred on the same five pillars and three lines of action previously defined, whilst incorporating additional cross-cutting measures.
