Description
Measures the total domestic greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions generated in Spain for the exports of each industry.
Observations
Example: GHG emissions generated in Spain for the exports of the Manufacturing industry (C) amounted to 48,658 thousand tonnes of CO2 equivalent in 2023.
Calculation method
\(g^{\text{ES}} L^{\text{ES}} \langle e^{\text{ES}} \rangle\)
Where: \( g^{\text{ES}} \) is the vector of emissions per unit of output of the industries in the Spanish economy, \( L^{\text{ES}} \) is the domestic Leontief inverse for Spain, and \( \langle e^{\text{ES}} \rangle \) represents the diagonalised exports of each industry in Spain.
