CAPTURAS DE PEIXE
A Espanha foi o país da União Europeia que mais peixe
capturou em 2015: mais de 901 512 toneladas (17,6% do
total apurado para a UE), muito acima das 185 217 toneladas
pescadas por Portugal (3,6% do total da UE).
POPULAÇÃO EMPREGADA NA AGRICULTURA,
SILVICULTURA E PESCA
Em 2015, em ambos os países ibéricos, a percentagem da
população empregada que trabalhava no setor Agricultura,
silvicultura e pesca era reduzida: 4,8% em Portugal e
4,1% em Espanha (valores próximos do apurado para UE
no seu conjunto: 4,2%). O valor mais elevado para este
indicador registou-se na Roménia (23,1%) e o mais baixo no
Luxemburgo (0,8%).

fish caught in 2015: 901,512 tonnes (17.6% of the total
for the EU), well above the 185,217 tonnes of fish caught
by Portugal (3.6% of the EU total).
EMPLOYMENT IN AGRICULTURE, FORESTRY AND
FISHERIES
In 2015, in both Iberian countries, there was a low
percentage of employed population in the Agriculture,
forestry and fisheries sector: 4.8% in Portugal and
4.1% in Spain (figures close to that of the EU as a
whole: 4.2%). The highest figure for this indicator
was recorded in Romania (23.1%) and the lowest in
Luxembourg (0.8%).

En 2015, en ambos países ibéricos, el porcentaje de
población que trabajaba en el sector Agricultura,
silvicultura y pesca era reducida: 4,8% en Portugal; 4,1%
en España (valores próximos al registrado para el conjunto
de la UE: 4,2%). El valor más alto para este indicador se
registró en Rumanía (23,1%) y el más bajo en Luxemburgo
(0,8%).
