Es un índice de tipo Laspeyres encadenado. La fórmula de cálculo es: \[_{dic(t-1)} I^{mt}_{A,p} = \sum_{i\in A} {_{dic(t-1)}} I^{mt}_{i,p}\times {_{dic(t-1)} W_{i,p}}\] donde \(_{dic(t-1)} I^{mt}_{i,p}\) es el índice, referido a diciembre del año t-1, de la agregación funcional \(i\) en la agregación geográfica \(p\), y \( _{dic(t-1)} W_{i,p} \) es la ponderación (en tanto por uno), referida a diciembre de t-1, de la agregación funcional \(i\) en la agregación geográfica \(p\).
