Emissions of particulate matter with a diameter of less than 2.5µm (PM 2.5) from resident economic units of the manufacturing sector per unit of real gross value added, irrespective of the geographical location where they actually occur.

Where: \( EPM2.5_text{manufacturing}^t \) is the emissions of particulate matter of diameter less than 2.5 µm from resident economic units of the manufacturing sector in year t and \( GVA_text{manufacturing, 2015}^t \) is the gross value added of the manufacturing sector in volume chained with reference 2015 in year t.
