National consumer price index for sub-group 001 - Food.

It is a chained Laspeyres type index. The calculation formula is: where \(_{dec(t-1)} I^{mt}_{i,p}\) is the index, referred to December of year t-1, of the functional aggregation i in the geographical aggregation p, and \( _{dec(t-1)} W_{i,p} \) is the weight (as a proportion of one), referring to December of year t-1, of the functional aggregation i in the geographical aggregation p.
