Plan de Actuación 2026
This implements the 2024-2026 Triennial Action Plan, in accordance with Law 40/2015 of RJSP (Legal Regime of the Public Sector) for the year 2026. The INE undertakes to work towards achieving the objectives of this Action Plan, to periodically assess the degree of compliance with it and to take the appropriate measures to implement its fulfilment.
Annual Programme 2026
The 2026 Annual Programme of the 2025-2028 National Statistical Plan is approved, thus consolidating statistical planning for the coming year. This programme sets out the statistical operations to be conducted during the year and the bodies responsible for their implementation.
Meeting between Producers and Users of Real Estate Statistics
21th and 22th January.
Housing has become one of the great social challenges of our time. This meeting was created with the aim of reflecting on the capacity of available indicators to capture residential real estate market processes, as well as to explore how to improve their quality, comparability, and accessibility.

The INE announces the call for the 2025 National Statistics Award. All institutions, organisations and public or private foundations that are particularly related to statistics may nominate candidates. Entries can be made from 6 December 2025 to 5 March 2026 (both inclusive).

Non-hotel Tourist Accommodation Occupancy Survey
January 2026. Provisional data. Overnight stays in non-hotel tourist accommodation increased by 3.6% in January compared to the same month in 2025. Overnight stays in apartments increased by 2.4%, those in campsites by 3.7% and those in rural tourism by 24.0% compared to the same month in 2025. In contrast, those in hostels decreased by 5.9%.

Flash estimate of the Consumer Price Index (CPI)
February 2026. The annual change in the flash estimate of the CPI stands at 2.3% in February, the same as in January. The annual rate of the flash indicator of underlying inflation rose by one tenth of a percentage point to 2.7%.
Flash estimate of the Harmonised Consumer Price Index (HCPI)
February 2026. The annual rate of the flash indicator of the HCPI is 2.5%.
Export Price Index (IPRIX) and Import Price Index (IPRIM) of Industrial Products. Base 2021
January 2026. Provisional data. The annual rate of the IPRIX stood at -1.1% in January, three tenths above as that recorded in December. The annual variation of the IPRIM was -4.1%, one tenth lower than the previous month.
Social Economy Satellite Account
2019-2023 Series. The Gross Value Added of the social economy reached 54,424 million euros in 2023, representing 4.0% of the national total. Direct employment in the social economy exceeded 1.2 million jobs, accounting for 5.8% of total employment in 2023.
