A new issue of Índice magazine on how statistics are compiled has been published.
December 2025. Results of the actions in the Elections to the Assembly of Extremadura on December 21, 2025.
January 2026. The annual variation rate of the January CPI stood at 2.3%, six tenths lower than the recorded in December. The annual rate of core inflation remained at 2.6%. The monthly variation of the general rate was -0.4%.
January 2026. The annual rate of the Harmonised Index of Consumer Prices (HICP) stood at 2.4%, six tenths below the previous month.

1 January 2026. Provisional data. The population of Spain increased by 81,520 during the fourth quarter of 2025, standing at 49,570,725 inhabitants on 1 January 2026. Spain exceeds 10 million foreign-born inhabitants for the first time. The main immigrant nationalities were Colombian, Venezuelan and Moroccan.
