Week 2026. The results of the monthly birth estimate for January 2026 are published.

Fourth Quarter 2025. Provisional data. The annual variation of the Services Sector Price Index decreased one tenth in the fourth quarter of 2025, to 2.3%. The quarterly rate of services prices was -0.5%.

Fourth Quarter 2025. The labour cost of companies increased to 3.8% in the fourth quarter compared to the same period of the previous year and stood at 3,382.48 euros per worker per month. The wage cost increased by 3.6%. With calendar-adjusted and deseasonalised results, the labour cost per worker increased by 3.6% annually and 1.0% quarterly. The number of vacancies was 155,737 this quarter.

The monthly variation in retail sales at constant prices was 0.1% after seasonal and calendar adjustment. Employment in retail trade increased by 0.9% in annual rate.
